Privacy & cookies

Your project details help us respond to your enquiry. Optional analytics help us understand how our website is used. Analytics is enabled by default. You can switch it off on this privacy page, and you can contact us either way.

Who handles your information

Vaughan Carpentry is a finish carpentry business in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. For privacy questions or requests, email info@vaughancarpentry.com or call (289) 802-2281.

When you contact us

Our enquiry forms ask for your name, email address, phone number and the service you are interested in. Project details are optional. Please share only information relevant to your carpentry project.

We use this information to respond, discuss your requirements, prepare a quote and arrange or provide services you request. Sending an enquiry does not sign you up for marketing emails or change your analytics preference.

Webflow hosts our website and processes form submissions. Our email service handles enquiry notifications and replies. Hosting and security services may process technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect the website.

Your analytics choices

Google Analytics is enabled by default on this website. You can stop analytics immediately using Opt out of analytics using the button below. No cookie popup is displayed. Opting out does not prevent you from viewing pages or sending an enquiry.

Your browser preference will appear here when this page loads.

Opt out of analytics

When you opt out, we stop new analytics collection on this website and remove its first-party analytics cookies. Your page may reload to unload the analytics library. Opting out does not undo processing that happened before your choice.

  • Remembering your choice: we store a preference in your browser's local storage, named vc-analytics-choice-v2, until you change it or clear browser storage. This is not an analytics cookie. We also respect an earlier rejection saved under vc-cookie-choice-v1, including an expired rejection.
  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics uses _ga and a property-specific _ga_ cookie to distinguish visits and sessions. We configure them to expire after 180 days without extending their lifetime on each visit.
  • Essential services: hosting, security and form functions remain available regardless of your analytics choice.

Your choice applies to this browser. Clearing browser storage, changing browser or using another device may enable analytics again until you opt out there.

What optional analytics measures

Unless you opt out, Google Analytics 4 measures page visits, general browser and device information, approximate location, referring website, successful enquiry submissions and clicks on our phone links. A phone-link click indicates an attempt to call; it does not tell us whether a call connected.

Our tracking does not send your name, email, phone number, project description or other form answers to Google Analytics. We remove query strings and URL fragments from the page addresses we report. We do not enable Google signals, user-provided data collection, advertising personalization or Meta Pixel.

Google processes analytics information through its infrastructure, which may be outside Canada. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Retention and service providers

We retain enquiry and project records for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide services, maintain relevant business records and meet applicable obligations. Contact us if you would like to ask about or request deletion of your information.

Google Analytics user-level and event-level retention is set to two months, with the reset-on-new-activity option off. Aggregated reports may be retained longer. Browser cookie lifetime and analytics data retention are separate settings.

Our service providers may process information outside your province or country, including in the United States. It may be subject to the laws of those locations. Read Webflow's Privacy Policy for information about its processing.

Your rights and requests

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, obtain a copy of your data, withdraw consent or complain to a privacy regulator. Email us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing information.

We may update this notice as our website or practices change. The date above identifies the latest version.
